REALITY AND FANTASY

Reality is the world we live in
it's the real here and now.
Here all you know is real
Fantasy is the beast that hides among us
It only wants your soul
and with its followers
is always searching for more
When reality and fantasy collide
and the two worlds join
like a marriage made in hell
the fight for total control begins
The worlds are joined and now are one
All seems the same
as you drop your guard
You unknowly enter its net of lies
The beast of fantasy deploys its demons
They wait and watch your every move
finding your each and every weakness
Fantasy will always lie
that's what it does best
It tells you what you want to hear
You unwillingly give yourself up
Reality always shows the truth
It knows only what it knows
for it doesn't try to deceive or control
Here in this world we all can see
We know the difference
between good and evil
and truths and lies
But when one loses oneself to fantasy
they all become blinded by the lies
and all of its empty promises
Now there is little hope of escape
You can't even see the truth
It's easy to see it
by the destruction it will cause
You must open your mind
back to the real reality
and always remember
all here is real
Because I'll always be waiting to help
Then while I wait I begin to think
Am I in reality
or is this really fantasy?
And if this is fantasy
who will be there
to wait for me?
