Loneness and sadness
This bird is again
The parting of his soul mate
His love for her, was no sin

Fighting back the tears of pain
The missing piece of his heart
To have to watch her leave his side
Just tore him apart

He watches the hands of time
Knowing that there will be a day
When the phoenix and dragon
Will meet again, and love the same way
